Greetings NERSC Cray users, NERSC would like to remind you of our plans to decommission the Cray sytems (T3E and PVP cluster) on October 1, 2002. Please read the Cray Retirement Guide: http://hpcf.nersc.gov/computers/crayretire.html If your project is planning to make use of scalable parallel resources you should start planning your migration to the IBM SP now. To learn about the IBM SP at NERSC please read: http://hpcf.nersc.gov/computers/SP/ If you don't yet have an account on the SP but have codes that could scale to the SP environment: (1) See if your project has an MPP allocation: http://hpcf.nersc.gov/accounts/allocations/awards/alloc2002.html (2) If yes, ask your PI or Repo Manager to request an SP account for you. If no, the PI or Repo Manager should contact Francesca Verdier (fverdier@lbl.gov) to discuss how to proceed.
