SIMBA is a software tool to help analysts construct complex models for ASC-sized finite element analysis simulations. SIMBA's hierarchical model representation and its archiving features facilitate sharing and re-use of simulation models, reducing the design-through-analysis time. Further, these features enable an analyst to rapidly respond to design changes that are commonly issued by weapon engineers. SIMBA supports a variety of thermal and structural analysis applications and is in production use on several weapon programs.
