Subject: MATLAB 7.1.0.R14 installed

Dear NERSC Users, We have installed matlab 7.1.0.R14 on the Linux Networx supercomputer, Jacquard (jacquard.nersc.gov) and the shared-memory computer, DaVinci (davinci.nersc.gov). To access this new version use the command "module load matlab/7.1.0.R14". For changes and new features see the Release Notes: http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/rn/rn.html This version will become the default on February 2, 2006. The current version, 7.0.2.R14 will be removed on February 24, 2006.
