The
Idaho Humanities Council is a private, non-profit organization dedicated
to increasing the awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the
humanities in Idaho. It accomplishes this by supporting educational
programs for the general public and various target audiences. The Council
plans and conducts projects on its own and in collaboration.
The Council meets twice each year to review applications for Major Grants and Mini Grants as well as to plan and develop other program initiatives. The IHC publishes a tri-annual newsletter, Idaho Humanities, which contains feature articles and provides information about projects funded and humanities news of interest. IHC also publishes an Annual Report summarizing all IHC activity in a given year. Requests for these publications and other information can be made by contacting IHC directly: |
