Mission Statement
The Division of Federal-State Relations provides the highest standard
of leadership, information, technical guidance and resource management to our customers:
FDA, other federal agencies, state/local governments and regulatory associations. We
represent the Agency and serve as a liaison for our external and internal customers. |
We continuously strive to: |
•Be creative, flexible and open to new ideas, providing cost
effective and innovative solutions in support of DFSR, ORA and the Agency. |
•Maintain the highest levels of integrity in providing the
most efficient, timely and accurate information on Agency policies and procedures that
impact our customers. |
•Present an atmosphere of cooperation, courtesy, respect and
professionalism. Serve as a conduit for our customers to exchange information. |
•Offer a forum for our customers to provide input to the
Agency's decision making process. |
•Develop information and educational programs to support
FDA's Public Affairs Specialists and their managers. |
•Be a responsive liaison for the Agency with national
