Features
DMIS Tools enable dynamic collaboration while simultaneously documenting the response to an incident. For example, DMIS Tools operators can simultaneously view the incident map and make mark-ups on map layers to understand the operating picture, express needs, and mark up layers over the base map to coordinate planned actions. While collaboratively working in the map environment, DMIS Tools operators can also use the DMIS Messenger function to discuss the operating picture, specific needs, and planned actions.
The sections below provide summary information on DMIS Tools features. For further details regarding DMIS Tools features, review DMIS Version 2.3.3 Operators Guide (PDF, 220 pages - 4.9 MB).
