Annual Fund
Unrestricted annual support from the community and from our members is one of the cornerstones of the National Forest Association’s operations. General operating contributions support the creation of innovative programs and make possible the operation of the entire organization and program sites. While restricted support is important to specific programs or capital improvements, unrestricted support enables our educators and volunteers to continue their critical work. As one of the most significant resources for environmental stewardship in the region, our ability to serve schoolchildren across the region and visitors to the forest is dependent in large part on your generous gifts to the Annual Fund.

Planned Giving
If your wish is to make a gift that will support the National Forest Association well into the future, a planned gift may be right for you. Funded now, funded over time, funded as a bequest, or a combination of all three, it is up to you. We can provide information on charitable tax deductions, programs available to you, and proposals specific to you and your family’s needs. Estate planning is available to provide for the National Forest Association’s long-term future.

Sponsor-A-Trail

Become a Sponsor-A-Trail contributor by sponsoring a specific road or trail.  By becoming a sponsor, your organization will optimize the positive impact of volunteer programs.  There are several levels available, along with corresponding recognition.  Customized partnerships can also be arranged.  To apply for sponsorship, fill out the enclosed application and return as indicated.

Wildfire Trailer

The Fire Education Outreach Program consists of more than 100 volunteers dedicated to educating people about wildfire. These volunteers also assist the Forest Service when wildfires occur, providing additional man-power for activities such as answering fire info phones and working at base camps.  This program welcomes financial support to expand its successful outreach throughout California and to provide the volunteers with supplies and materials necessary to perform their services. Since 2003, more than 30,000 visitors have toured the wildfire trailer and it has been exhibited at events attracting a public audience in excess of 100,000.

Program sponsors receive recognition in all support publications, on our website and with logos on the trailer for display as its travels throughout the state.

If you would like to become a sponsor or donate to this valuable program, please contact the Program Manager at (909) 382-2697 or email Program Manager .
