The Business Unit acts as the operating point for managing the successful
completion of those processes involved with the Program Manager's external
business projects.
This demands teaming between Sandia National Laboratories and the customer,
principal investigators, legal staff, fiscal and contract staff, corporate
authorities, DOE/Al, DOE/KAO...whatever it takes to move the contract to
completion.
This effort applies to the following:
- Work For Others program dealing with other Federal Agencies as well as Non
Federal Entities
- CRADAs - where we support the Tech Partnerships process
- IWTAs - with Lockheed Martin
- ICOs with other DOE organizations
- Designated Capability Sales of Assembly Test Chips
- User Facility collaborations
- Personnel Exchanges
- Small Business project
In addition, we support:
- The collaborative process of BAAs with letters of capability
- Close-out of proposals, extensions of proposals (both no-cost and
funded)
- Consulting contracts
- No-fee agreements
- Professional organization memberships
- Organization technical accomplishment history
- Director's briefing program
- Service Academy Liaison
A major goal is to relieve the line of the "process" involved with getting
the work in.
