Biomaterial
of the Month
Poly(lactide-co-glycolide) copolymer (PLGA)
is the most widely used resorbable polymer in the biomedical field. PLGA is used in a wide range of medical applications including resorbable suture, resorbable wound dressing, facial augmentation, and orthopaedic fixation devices.
