Is Pharmacy for You Video Competition Guidelines [11/1/08]
AACP and the Career Information Clearinghouse, a collaboration of national pharmacy organizations committed to promoting the pharmacy profession and the pharmaceutical sciences, are pleased to announce a new competition for pharmacy schools. The Is Pharmacy for You? Video Competition gives pharmacy faculty and students the opportunity to produce a video answering the question, “Is pharmacy for you?” The video submission selected will be posted on the AACP website, the CIC member organization websites, the PharmCAS website and on YouTube and will be used to attract interested students to the profession of pharmacy. November AACP Careers is now available online! [11/3/08]
Explore the latest career opportunities in academic pharmacy in the November edition of AACP Careers! Don’t forget to share AACP Careers with your colleagues and students.

*Special Note! On January 5, 2008 AACP will go live with the first ever online Career Center for academic pharmacy. This job bank will house positions from all over the country and will replace AACP Careers. Look for details in upcoming editions of AACP Careers on how you can submit and review career opportunities!

Curricular Change Summit [10/31/08]
AACP seeks authors for a series of five analytical papers for the AACP Curricular Change Summit on issues deemed critically important to the Association’s goal of supporting excellence in pharmaceutical education. The topics identified during recent discussions of the 2008-2009 AACP Academic Affairs Standing Committee are: 1) Future Graduates 2) Pre-Professional Curriculum 3) Addressing Competencies for the Future in the Professional Curriculum 4)Roles of Innovation in Education Delivery 5) Assessing Transformation and Change in the Professional Curriculum
