Idaho is an excellent place to start or grow a business. In addition to requiring no corporate or personal income tax, Idaho has a workforce that is second to none.
Business Information Center - The goal of the Idaho Business Information Center is to provide a one-stop center where entrepreneurs or managers can go to find the tools and information they need to start or grow successful businesses. The center has a wide variety of business materials, including a staff of business advisors, a comprehensive library, and a computer lab with Internet access available for business research.
Idaho Works - is a collaboration of state and local workforce development organizations committed to creating a globally competitive workforce in Idaho. The web page is helpful to businesses in solving employment and training related challenges and to people making career transitions.
The Idaho Business Network (IBN) - maintains a web page offering a searchable listing of current bid opportunities plus a variety of procurement-related information, links to other government home pages and a summary of services. As an IBN member, you will receive a user name and password allowing access to daily bid notices.
Idaho Department of Labor - provides a multitude of employment-related services, including job training, unemployment insurance, labor market information, and administration of Idaho's labor laws. The agency's primary function is to match job seeker and employer. The web site includes a list of Idaho Job Service Offices around the state.
Procurement Technical Assistance Centers – The Defense Logistics Agency administers the Department of Defense Procurement Technical Assistance (PTA) Program. PTA centers are a local resource that can provide assistance to business firms in marketing products to Federal, state, and local governments.
