TVA’s Douglas Dam Campgrounds To Close for 2007 Season

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – TVA’s Douglas Dam Headwater and Tailwater campgrounds will close Monday, Dec. 17.

At the request of stakeholders, TVA extended operations at the two campgrounds, which are among the most popular in the Tennessee Valley.

Nine of TVA’s 11 seasonal campgrounds on reservoirs throughout the Valley closed for the winter Nov. 19. TVA’s day-use recreation areas remain open year-round.
