TVA To Close One Lane of Highway 153 Across Chickamauga Dam

Traffic on Highway 153 across TVA’s Chickamauga Dam (Thrasher Bridge) will be restricted to one lane at various times between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, during a bridge inspection.

If the inspection is delayed by inclement weather, one lane may also be closed during the same time period Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Motorists may want to consider another route during those hours. In the event of inclement weather, the bridge inspection will be rescheduled.
