A federal program called Conversations With America is designed to encourage public comment on how to improve government services to citizens. The following monthly calendar lists meetings that provide forums for public questions and comments.

Tennessee and the Changing American Energy Landscape

TVA is a participant in the panel discussion which is sponsored by the Baker Center for Public Policy. This discussion will focus on how major energy-related institutions in Tennessee are responding to, and helping resolve the energy challenges of today. The public is welcome and admission is free.

TVA Regional Resource Stewardship Council

The fourth term of TVA’s Regional Resource Stewardship Council (RRSC) will hold its third meeting on October 9 and 10 to discuss TVA’s Commercial Recreation, Dispersed Recreation, and Violations & Encroachments Strategies.  The meeting agenda is available on TVA’s website.  The RRSC will hear public comments from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. EDT on Friday, October 10.

TVA Transmission System Project

An open house will be held to present TVA’s plans to improve electrical service in the local region. TVA staff will host and attend open house to present maps of the study area and additional information regarding the process for siting transmission lines and to discuss the project with property owners and stakeholders.
