January 16, 3:30-4:30pm: Service-Learning Grants Workshop
Learn more about applying for these grants for developing service-learning courses. Grant recipients must be Ohio State faculty or staff and the grants are for Ohio State academic service-learning courses. Location: 400 Stillman Hall. (RFP for grants)
February 5, 4:45-6:30pm: Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Service-Learning Initiative includes a faculty-staff-student discussion about the future of service-learning at Ohio State and its relationship to President Obama’s plans for national service. Refreshments. Location: Women’s Field House, 1790 Cannon Dr.
February 20: Service-learning award nominations due
February 27, 4pm: Service-learning grant proposals due

Spring Quarter 2009
April 3, 3:30-4:30pm: Seeing the Light: Shaping Reflection on Service
Workshop on building effective reflection exercises for service-learning students. Location: 400 Stillman Hall.
April 24: 6th annual James F. Patterson Land-Grant University Lecture; announcement of grant recipients
May 14, 4-6pm: A Celebration of Excellence in Community Service and Scholarship Awards reception. Location: Hale Center.
