How Can I Help?
Federal Agencies
I am pleased to provide casework assistance to Montana residents. I
consider it my primary responsibility to ensure that all constituents
have an effective forum to resolve any problem you may be having with a
federal or state government agency. Some examples of this assistance
include problems with social security checks; workers' compensation
claims; military service problems; veterans' benefits; and immigration
problems.
Federal Grants
Although I am unable to influence the awarding of grant money, I can
provide some resources you can use to find the funds you seek. I can
also provide a letter of support, in most cases, which you can include
in your grant application.
Flags
The American flag is an important symbol of patriotic pride for the
United States. It is my pleasure to make these available to my
constituents. You can request an American flag that has been flown over
the U.S. Capitol, for the cost of the flag, certification and shipping.
Students
All of you are the key to our state's future. There are many opportunities for Montana students to learn more about our nation's government and to participate in the legislative process - internships and fellowships are available to participate in year-round. I like to accommodate as many people as possible but space is limited so please contact my office at least a semester in advance of when you'd like to help out in my office.
