Consortium offers performance measures

International Framework for Court Excellence Inspired by court quality models used around the world, the new International Framework for Court Excellence assesses a court’s performance against seven areas of excellence, guiding courts to improve.

  • NCSC Executive Director of Program Resource Development Gene Flango spoke on "Operating Dependency Courts in Disasters" to the Conference of Social Work Researchers Jan. 16 in New Orleans.

The Conference of Chief Justices has filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court urging it to clarify the conditions under which the Constitution’s due process clause should prevent a state judge from presiding over a matter involving a major campaign contributor.
