Congressman McCarthy to Host Veterans Resource Conference

 BAKERSFIELD – Next Thursday, August 30, 2007, Congressman McCarthy will host a Veterans Resource Conference at the North of the River Veterans Memorial Building from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. See the attached document to view the invitation sent to veterans in Kern County.

 “I know how challenging the process can be for veterans and their families to receive needed benefits,” said Congressman McCarthy. “I felt it was important to create a conference to provide information detailing the opportunities and services available to the brave men and women that served in uniform.”
