2009 Presidential Inauguration Tickets and Information

The 2009 Presidential Inauguration will take place January 20th at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Each Senatorial and Congressional office received a limited number of tickets to be distributed to the public. Our office has reached its maximum allowance, and those that will be receiving tickets will be contacted with further information. Thank you to everyone who expressed interest. For those who did not receive tickets but would still like to attend the event, the Presidential Inaugural Committee announced that the entire length of the 2-mile long National Mall would be thrown open to spectators, enabling millions of people to witness the swearing-in of the President from a vantage point in sight of the Capitol. The plans call for President-elect Obama's swearing-in and Inaugural Address to be relayed down the length of the 309-acre mall on giant rock concert-style television screens.
