Facts:
- ISU maintains outreach centers in Boise, Idaho Falls, Twin Fall, American Falls, Blackfoot, Preston, Soda Springs and Coeur d'Alene.
- The mascot for the University was originally the "Bantams". The size or behavior didn't support the title, making it unpopular. In 1921, the new Director of Physical Education and Athletics Ralph Hutchinson, who was a Princeton graduate, organized the "I" Club. Group members adopted Princeton tiger as their mascot. In 1931, it became the University's official mascot.
