While noble aspirations are important, what ultimately matters is delivering tangible outcomes:  transformed government, strengthened nonprofits, and lives changed for the better.  Federal and State evaluation of their programs as well as academic research are the means by which these outcomes are described and documented.  This section provides information on FBCI-related research and evaluation, including a searchable database containing reports, evaluations, case studies, and other measurement tools that have been released since 2001. These documents present the initial results of the FBCI, including 10 new academic papers and 15 papers by emerging scholars on issues and programs associated with the FBCI.

Database of Federally Funded Research and Resources
This database incorporates the best FBCI research and resources completed with funding from Federal agencies. The research includes process and results data for projects that were both specific to the FBCI and impacted by the initiative as well as resources to strengthen the services and capacity of nonprofit organizations.
