Research and Resources"The measure of compassion is more than good intentions, it is good results."
While noble aspirations are important, what ultimately matters is delivering tangible outcomes: transformed government, strengthened nonprofits, and lives changed for the better. Federal and State evaluation of their programs as well as academic research are the means by which these outcomes are described and documented. This section provides information on FBCI-related research and evaluation, including a searchable database containing reports, evaluations, case studies, and other measurement tools that have been released since 2001. These documents present the initial results of the FBCI, including 10 new academic papers and 15 papers by emerging scholars on issues and programs associated with the FBCI. 2008 National Conference Research The Faith-Based and Community Initiative along with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services solicited research covering a wide range of topics associated with two recent Calls for Papers addressing issues and programs associated with the FBCI.
