Portraits of Compassion Videos

This spring, the White House Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (FBCI) launched a video contest, known as Portraits of Compassion, for any domestic or international nonprofit organization that has partnered with a Federally funded program since 2001 to serve the needy. The goal was to shine a light on the countless caring Americans who offer help and hope to their neighbors in need as part of the FBCI. Each day across the country, passionate citizens rally together through volunteer organizations, local nonprofit organizations, houses of worship, and civic groups to serve their neighbors and lift their communities. The Portraits of Compassion video contest highlights this vital work and inspires others to service as well.  

After all the videos were reviewed and scored, the following video stories were named the winners:

First Place Domestic Service
