Welcome to Telework 101 for Managers. This training course offers an overview of telework principles and procedures. It provides you with tips and resources for making decisions about how best to implement telework in your group, and for successfully managing teleworkers.

Now more than ever, telework can be a valuable management tool:

  • Do you need to attract or perhaps retain qualified employees? Telework may be an appealing incentive for employees who value this form of flexibility.
  • Do you want to help employees do their best work? Telework can provide blocks of uninterrupted time so employees can concentrate on their tasks with fewer distractions, which typically results in more and/or better work produced.
