GIH Names New Board Members

GIH is pleased to announce the addition of Fatima Angeles of The California Wellness Foundation, Jarrett Barrios of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation, Robert Hughes of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Len McNally of The New York Community Trust to its board of directors. Their board terms begin immediately following the 2009 GIH annual meeting in March.

Gary Yates Named 2009 Terrance Keenan Award Winner

GIH is pleased to announce that Gary L. Yates, president and CEO of The California Wellness Foundation, has been named the 2009 recipient of The Terrance Keenan Leadership Award in Health Philanthropy.

Save the Date: Art & Science of Health Grantmaking June 10-11

Save the date for the 2009 Art & Science of Health Grantmaking, which will take place in Baltimore, Maryland. The meeting will feature two days of hands-on professional development on foundation governance, finance and investments, grantmaking, evaluation, and communications.
