New Courses Offered

Pavement Preservation: Selecting Pavements for Preventive Maintenance (#131058) focuses on selecting the right pavement for various preservation treatments. The course also illustrates pavement evaluation, project selection, and materials considerations for various preventive maintenance applications.

Use of Critical Path Method (CPM) for Estimating, Scheduling, and Timely Completion (#134049) focuses on effective construction and maintenance planning and scheduling tools that can be used to accelerate construction and minimize impact on the traveling public.

Recommended Practices for Management and Operations of Intelligent Transportation Systems (#137025) offers guidelines on recommended practices, enabling ITS professionals to assess and further their own management and operations needs and practices.

Newly Revised Course

Highway/Utility Issues (#134006), based on the Highway/Utility Guide, provides training in the efficient use of crowded rights-of-way for highway and utility purposes.

PCC Pavement Evaluation and Rehabilitation (#131062) presents different techniques to identify the causes and patterns of distress in portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement. The course also presents techniques for rehabilitation selection, design, and construction for various types of distress.

HMA Pavement Evaluation and Rehabilitation (#131063) presents different techniques to identify the causes and patterns of distress in hot-mix asphalt pavement. The course also presents techniques for rehabilitation selection, design, and construction for various types of distress.
