The Executive Director of Arizona State Parks, after twenty years as the Director, is retiring. Therefore, we are currently looking for an energetic and motivated professional to serve our Board as the Executive Director providing the passion, direction, and leadership for Arizona State Parks. This executive-level position is responsible to the Arizona State Parks Board for the general supervision and control of all activities, functions and employees of the Agency. Residency: Some positions are in parks that may require the incumbent to reside at the park. This requirement will be part of the individual position's requirement. See a list of parks with Residency requirements.
Pre-Employment Medical/Physical Requirement: Employment in these positions is contingent upon the passing of a medical/physical examination, which includes testing of ability to lift 50 pounds. This exam will be coordinated with the State of Arizona Human Resources Division, Occupational Health Services and paid for by the State of Arizona.
