Get Involved

You can Get Involved by participating in a club, enjoying a project, leading a group, becoming a volunteer...  The opportunities are endless!

Here's how some creative Central Region 4-Hers described the 4-H experience at a weekend energizer event when given the phrase:
4-H is like (name a food) because...

4-H is like jello salad because...

...it's unique.
...it's fun.
...it's cool.
...jello salad and 4-H are green.

4-H is like cheesecake because...

...it's delicious.
...it's sweet.
...almost everyone likes it.
...it's wonderful.
...eat it up!

4-H is like a cheeseburger because...

...the more you add, the better it gets.
...it's colorful.
...everything is different.
...it has layers and each layer has its own thing.
...all work together to make a great thing.

4-H is like lemonade because...

...it's a mix of different things.
...it's cool!
...it's refreshing.
...it's sunny.
...it's inexpensive.
...it's All American.

4-H is like corn on the cob because...

...there are many parts, like the husk and the corn.
...you keep picking things off.
...it takes many of us to plant the seeds.
...you can take it one bite at a time until you finish it all (projects).
...we can be quiet but you can make us pop.
...it's good for you.
...it has lots of layers.
...it could be messy.
...it gets stuck in your brain.
