Jill Reedy
Jill Reedy, PhD, MPH, RD, is a Nutritionist with the Risk Factor Monitoring and Methods
Branch in the Applied Research Program. She came to the National Cancer Institute as a
Cancer Prevention Fellow. Dr. Reedy's research is focused on different methodological
approaches in dietary pattern analysis, dietary assessment, and the food environment. Her
interest in dietary patterns evolved from her dissertation research with health behavior
patterns and cluster analysis. Dr. Reedy earned her PhD in Nutrition at the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her MPH at the University of California, Berkeley. She
is a registered dietitian and previously worked as a Regional Manager at the Dairy Council
of California, a consultant with the California Nutrition Network, and a pediatric
dietitian.
