Alyssa Grauman
Alyssa Grauman, MPH, is a Research Associate in the Office of the Director of the
Applied Research Program. Previously, she served as a Cancer Research Training Award
fellow in the Risk Factor Monitoring and Methods Branch of the Applied Research Program,
where she worked on various projects related to diet, nutrition, and tobacco. She also
spent a year working as an information specialist for the National Center for
Complementary and Alternative Medicine's Clearinghouse, and worked as a laboratory
research assistant studying cell-signaling pathways in neuroblastoma. Ms. Grauman
received both her BS in Biology and her MPH in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology from
the University of Michigan. She works on a variety of projects in ARP involving the
National Health Interview Survey (NHIS), the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS),
supporting researchers in the area of ductal carcinoma in situ, and developing a Web-based
tutorial for NHANES dietary data.
