Tryptone 5 g
Proteose peptone 5 g
KH2PO4 15 g
Na2HPO4 7 g
NaCl 5 g
Dextrose 0.5 g
MgSO4 0.25 g
Ferric ammonium citrate 0.1 g
Sodium pyruvate 0.2 g
Distilled water 1.0 liter

 

 

 

 

Heat with gentle agitation to dissolve. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 6.3 ± 0.2.
