Gelatone or gelysate 6 g
Tryptone or trypticase 4 g
Yeast extract 3 g
Beef extract 1.5 g
Dextrose 1 g
Agar 15 g
Distilled water 1 liter

 

 

Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 6.5-6.6. Commercially available in dehydrated form as Difco Penassay Seed Agar or BBL Seed Agar.
