SIM Motility Medium

Pancreatic digest of casein (casitone) 20.0 g
Peptic digest of animal tissue (beef extract) 6.1 g
Ferrous ammonium sulfate 0.2 g
Sodium thiosulfate 0.2 g
Agar 3.5 g

 

 

Rehydrate and add 6 ml medium per 16 x 125 mm screw-cap tube. Sterilize according to manufacturer's instructions. Final pH, 7.3 ± 0.2. Medium is available from BBL.

DO NOT USE Difco SIM.
