Volunteers-in-Parks (VIPs) are a valuable resource in national parks. In Fiscal Year 2004 alone, 140,000 volunteers donated 5 million hours to your national parks at a value of $85.9 million. That’s a lot of help.
Cabrillo National Monument always welcomes Volunteers. We have VIPs who operate the Visitor Center, do living history demonstrations, assist with resource management studies, and help out with maintenance.
