NGC - How to Browse Organizations

Organization

You can use the National Guideline Clearinghouse™ (NGC) Organization Browse feature to find guidelines linked to a particular guideline developer, guideline endorser, or issuing organization.

Organization names are listed alphabetically. "See" references (cross-references), including initialisms, acronyms, and former names are included to facilitate browsing. There are also links between parent and children organizations, as appropriate.

To begin browsing the NGC by organization, click on the Organization Browse link located on the NGC Home Page or any left-hand navigation bar. This will bring you to the starting point for the NGC Organization Browse.

Top Level Browse Image

Click on the letter corresponding to the beginning letter of the organization or choose "List All" to produce a complete list of organization names.

For example, click on "A"

A list of organization names, sorted alphabetically, appears. Scroll through the list to find the organization name -- each name will be listed as a hyperlink.

Examples:

AAP see American Academy of Pediatrics
Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists

Click on the organization name link to access a list of all of the guidelines for that organization.

From here, you can choose to:

Display a guideline summary for a particular title (the default view is the Brief Summary)
Build a list of guidelines to view as a side-by-side comparison
