How to Submit Guidelines to NGC

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, invites organizations, societies, and other developers of clinical practice guidelines to submit completed guidelines and related background information to the National Guideline Clearinghouse™ (NGC). NGC was originally created by AHRQ in partnership with the American Medical Association and the American Association of Health Plans (now America's Health Insurance Plans [AHIP]).

Submitting Guidelines to NGC

AHRQ has contracted with ECRI, a nonprofit health services research agency, to perform the technical work for NGC.

All guidelines should be submitted to ECRI following these instructions:

Vivian Coates, NGC Project Director
ECRI Institute
5200 Butler Pike
Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462

Electronic submissions are also permitted. Requests to submit electronically should be sent to Ms. Coates at info@guideline.gov.

Other questions regarding submissions may also be directed to Ms. Coates at info@guideline.gov.

NGC Copyright Agreement

Before your organization's guideline(s) can be included on the NGC Web site, we must receive copyright permission. Please download the NGC Copyright Agreement in MS Word or print the Portable Document Format (PDF) version and return the completed form with your submission.
