U.S. Map Highlighting Member-States

As a National Farmers Union member, you will be making your voice heard on the issues you care about most. NFU’s members develop its policy at the grassroots level, and travel to Capitol Hill to bring our message directly to lawmakers.

NFU also offers adult and youth educational programs. Family farms and ranches are declining and we are committed to providing our future leaders with the necessary skills to continue in the family business.

NFU offers expertise in developing cooperatives by providing detailed how-tos for starting a co-op, and linking producers to persons and groups that can help advance their farm enterprises with co-ops.

Because NFU and its member states operate under a unified structure, when an individual or family joins a state or regional organization they automatically become members of National Farmers Union. If there is not a state or regional organization in your area, you may join Farmers Union at the national level and become at-large members.
