The National Guideline Clearinghouse™ (NGC) Annotated Bibliographies feature allows users to search by text word and/or subject category to identify citations for publications and resources about guidelines. Resources have been selected not only from the peer-reviewed journal literature, but also from non-journal sources. Access the Annotated Bibliographies.

NGC-L Discussion List

The NGC-L electronic discussion list - NGC-L - is available. This discussion list is designed to support discussions on various issues such as clinical practice guideline development, methodology, research, dissemination, implementation, and use.

AHRQ Evidence Reports

This resource provides users with a list and links to AHRQ Evidence Reports produced under the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ) Evidence-based Practice Program and Effective Health Care Program.

Expert Commentary

The NGC/NQMC Expert Commentary feature provides users with access to editorial insights on current issues of importance to the respective clearinghouses and to the guideline and measure fields in general.

If you are a patient and are accessing this site, you should understand that the information presented is intended and designed for the use of expert audiences. You should seek assistance from a health care professional in interpreting these materials and applying them in individual cases. NGC does provide a list of Web sites that contain information designed especially for patients.

PDA/Palm List

This resource provides users with information regarding the availability of full-text guidelines and/or companion documents in downloadable versions for the handheld computer (Personal Digital Assistant [PDA], Palm, etc.).

RSS Feeds

The RSS Feeds resource provides Web developers with RSS feeds of the entire inventory of NGC content. Using this resource, Web developers can easily incorporate headline information from our Web sites and navigate back to our sites for detailed summaries and other features.
