Compatible Browsers

The Web pages of the National Guideline Clearinghouse™ (NGC), sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, are best presented by the current versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape or Opera.

This site will work with all browsers. The current versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera and Mozilla render the site pages in almost exactly the same way. Older (or specialty) browsers vary widely in capabilities. This variation means that even though the same content will be available in every browser, the display of that content may differ according to the capabilities of each specific browser. As the current versions of most browsers are available as a free-download (hyperlinks above), NGC advises site-users to use the most current version of one of the popular browsers listed above for the best experience on the site.

The following browsers have been tested for compatibility with the NGC:

Bobby approved

The NGC site has been approved for accessibility by Bobby, a tool that analyzes Web pages for their accessibility to people with disabilities as well as their compatibility with various browsers.
