Can teleworkers follow an alternative work schedule?

There is no governmentwide restriction on teleworkers following alternative work schedules, and many teleworkers may in fact have more flexible schedules when they are teleworking than when they are in the office. However, individual agency policies may restrict the combination of telework and other flexibilities, so managers and employees should discuss this issue with their telework coordinator.
