Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences | Rutgers-New Brunswick
International Programs at the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.

The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences strives to provide its students with an international curriculum and opportunities for educational experiences abroad. We have made it a priority to ensure that our students have the background and experience to work in a world made smaller by the internet, and for organizations and companies that have become increasingly multinational.

Many of our faculty have extensive and longstanding collaborations with international partners. These partnerships have provided new avenues for research and scholarship. A recent survey shows that our faculty are engaged in research activities that circle the globe--from the Arctic tundra to the tip of Cape Horn. Opportunities to engage in international activities are steadily increasing for undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty. Through this office we hope to enhance and facilitate these opportunities for our community.

International Summer Scholarships

For many students in the school, it is financially difficult to spend a semester or year abroad. We are therefore encouraging our students to pursue an international experience for summer of 2009 with this special program. Note: Application deadline is February 9, 2009.
