Capabilities of the Bridge Management Information Systems Laboratory

The following capabilities and expertise is available within the Bridge Management Information Systems Laboratory:

• Finite structure element modeling and analysis
• Geographical Information Systems (GIS) modeling and analysis
• Optimization and life cycle cost analysis
• Pontis bridge management system support
• Relational database modeling, design, and development
• Reliability analysis
• Risk analysis
• Simulation and uncertainty modeling
• Software programming design and development
• Web application design including decision support systems

These capabilities have been applied on various research projects in the past and are available to support current and future research efforts.
