The Society of Physics Students is an organization with the goal to make students studying physics feel welcome at Purdue and to provide a rich environment where physics students of all ages can come together and discuss physics and world issues, get help on homework, and just hang out.
Outreach (K-12)
PEARLS

Purdue's Department of Physics has developed a highly successful outreach program, PEARLS (Physics Educational Assistance, Resources and Learning Strategies), that brings the excitement of physical science to many students who would not otherwise be exposed to physics. It also encourages teachers and parents to motivate students to pursue careers in science, engineering, and technology. Purdue brings PEARLS of Science wisdom to your school.

· Teacher professional development workshops.
· Classroom visits.
· Physics on the Road Demo's has impacted approximately 30,000 K-12 students per year in the last ten years.
