Welcome to Veterinary Extension at The Ohio State University. Veterinary Extension is a unit within the Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine.  Extension Veterinarians serve as State Extension Specialists, as well as faculty members of the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Ohio State University Extension is the outreach and engagement component of the University.  We bring the knowledge of the University to your door and fulfill the land-grant mission by interpreting knowledge and research developed by OSU, as well as other land-grant universities, so that Ohioans can use the scientifically based information to better their lives, businesses, and communities.
