Keeping Boilermaker Parents Involved and Informed

Register for the University Residences Parent Association

Welcome to the University Residences Parent Association! It’s a great time to have a Boilermaker living in the residence halls – and it’s a great time to be a Boilermaker parent! We look forward to developing a relationship not only with your Boilermaker but also with you. The University Residences Parent Association (URPA) is designed to reach beyond the residence halls and draw on the insights that parents have to offer.

At the senate level, there is no cost to join URPA. By signing up for the program, you will receive the monthly online newsletter, Hallways Express; two mailed issues of Hallways; a parent quick-reference card; and a Purdue window cling.

The executive, representative, governor, and president levels offer an opportunity for parents to further the leadership education of University Residences students. Gifts given at these levels will be go toward advancing Residence Hall Association (RHA) and National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) leadership opportunities including leadership retreats, programming, and conference attendance.

You may pick your courtesy items up at the front desk of your student's residence hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. any day of the week.

Note: Note: Because of the cost involved in mailing URPA items, all URPA gifts must be picked up from University Residences. If you are not able to make it to campus, please have your student make arrangements to pick up your gift items with the main office of his or her residence..
