Celebrating 40 Years of Excellence!
1969 - 2009
IUPUI will observe its 40th year in 2009 and celebrate its accomplishments all year long.

Sutton, Purdue President Frederick L. Hovde, IUPUI's first Chancellor, Maynard K. Hine, and other visionary leaders in our community. Over the next 40 years, IUPUI has truly come into its own, becoming what Richard Lugar called for, "a great state university in Indianapolis."
