The Center for Nursing Education and Simulation houses multiple high-fidelity simulators, including an adult, an infant, a child and a maternity simulator. These simulators, most of which have voices, heart, lung and bowel sounds, pulses and programmable vital signs, immerse the students in realistic clinical situations.

The Purdue University College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences invites applications and nominations for the position of Associate Dean of the College and Head of the School of Nursing. The Associate Dean is a central part of the administration of the College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences. The Head of the School of Nursing directs the CCNE-accredited baccalaureate program, Master of Science in Nursing programs, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program on the West Lafayette campus. The College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences is seeking applications for a tenure track or clinical track faculty member at the rank of Associate or Full Professor to coordinate assessment activities within the College. The position is budgeted at 0.5 FTE as an Assistant Dean, and a 0.5 FTE appointment will be available in an appropriate academic unit within the University. Read this page for more details.
Textbook Orders
In an attempt to give students advance notice of textbook orders, the Office of the Provost and the Office of the Vice President for Student Services are asking that textbook orders be placed on departmental websites as they are supplied to the area bookstores.
