The
History Cooperative is pleased to present to its users a collection
of web-based conference proceedings. This initiative melds two forums
for the exchange of historical scholarship: the long-established rituals
of peer interaction and feedback available at the professional conference
and the new degree of accessibility provided by electronic media.
Joining these forums together offers a unique opportunity to make
the fine scholarship prepared for conferences available to a wider
readership. The History Cooperative envisions this initiative as one
with great potential for growth and hopes to add new conference proceedings
to it regularly.
