The History Cooperative

The History Cooperative is a pioneering nonprofit humanities resource offering top-level online history scholarship.

The History Cooperative welcomes JSTOR as the Cooperative's newest executive partner. JSTOR will take its first steps as a member by increasing its coverage of scholarly journals participating in the History Cooperative, including the Journal of American Ethnic History and Journal of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era, and introducing additional links between the resources. Digital History is a new Web resource that aims to cover the latest trends in digital history and to keep up with the state-of-the-field. Doug Seefeldt and William Thomas are the co-editors.

The History Cooperative invites you to view our newest partner, the Polish American Historical Association's excellent journal, Polish American Studies. We are also happy to feature the recent arrivals of New York History, Journal of American Ethnic History and The Michigan Historical Review to the History Cooperative archive.

Edited by James S. Pula, Polish American Studies is the scholarly journal published twice a year by the Polish American Historical Association.

New York History is the only scholarly journal devoted entirely to the history of New York State and is a must read for those seeking an in-depth look at the events the shaped the history of the State and the United States.

The Journal of American Ethnic History, the official journal of the Immigration and Ethnic History Society, is published quarterly and focuses on the immigrant and ethnic/racial history of the North American people.

The History Cooperative is pleased to add conference proceedings to our growing list of Web-based resources. We envision this initiative as one with great potential for online research, and intend to add new conference proceedings to the archive on a regular basis.
