How to Apply for Research Assistant Positions in the Economic Research Divisions

Most of our hiring is done in March and April for positions that are available in the summer months.  Therefore, we ask that completed applications be submitted by January 31.  However, positions occasionally become available at other times of the year, so we accept applications year-round.

Citizenship Requirements

Most positions require that applicants for research assistant positions be U.S. citizens or permanent residents intending to become citizens. For the few positions without this requirement, applicants must possess legal authorization to work in the United States and preference is given to qualified U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Please note that we must receive all of the information requested below before we can consider your application.
